I guess the reason I stopped reading this series was because I grew out of them. Some series don’t have the continuity that this one did, and I really appreciated it. Baker brought back a lot of stuff from previous books, like Liam’s conniving family and the magic postcards. I also liked the continuity this book had. It’s a great series, though! I loved those books. Unfortunately for some, it means that you have to read the Frog Princess series to understand a lot of the references. I was happy that Millie and Audun were both main characters in this book. What I really liked was the amount of references to the Frog Princess series. There were enough references to other books to understand. It’s been a long time since I’ve read any of these books, but it was easy enough to understand. She continued taking writing classes after the birth of her second daughter, but when she and her husband divorced, she went back to school and entered the SIMAT (School Immersion Masters in the Art of Teaching) program at Johns Hopkins University. worked part time in her husband’s business and took writing classes at the local community college. When her son was four, the family moved to the state of Maryland. She married her husband while in college, and had two children a few years after graduating from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Baker was born in Buffalo, New York and spent most of the next eighteen years in the Town of Tonawanda with her older brother and her parents.
